Booking the Church Community Hall

The Church Community Hall (CCH), extended and refurbished and officially opened by Lady Daresbury in 2003, is the hub of church life and used for a variety of activities which are both related and unrelated to the church of St. John’s. For example, the hall is regularly used by external groups for meetings and events, for church events such as meetings, Sunday school and socials and by a local mums and tots group.

The CCH is also available to hire for private functions, such as children’s birthday parties, receptions, meetings etc. at a competitive rate.

The building comprises a small vestibule, a hallway, a large room (capable of holding up to 80 people), a small room (capable of holding up to 25 people) and a kitchen which is able to provide full catering facilities and toilets. Both of the rooms, the kitchen and the toilets can be accessed easily from the central hallway.

The kitchen has two serving hatches, one of which opens out into the small room and the other into the hallway directly opposite the door to the large room.

All rooms have ample power points and adequate seating for all occasions. Folding tables are also available too. The CCH is centally heated to ensure that it is warm and comfortable at all times.
